Terms of service

These Terms govern your use of BESTPET.FUN at https://bestpet.fun. By using the Service or completing a payment, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service is

BESTPET.FUN sells digital advertising: public ranking placement on a pet leaderboard. Rank is each listing's current stake. If another listing outbids yours, yours slides down, is not refunded, and does not disappear. This is advertising / promotional display. It is not a raffle, sweepstakes, lottery, contest, or game of chance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to make a payment.

3. Listings and photos

You represent that you have all rights needed to upload the photo and name, and that the content is not illegal. We may hide or remove listings. Removal does not automatically create a refund except as described in the Refund Policy or required by law.

4. License

You grant BESTPET.FUN a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host and display your listing on the Service and in social cards.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Shopify (Shopify Payments / the store's checkout) as merchant of record for the charge. We do not store card numbers. A new listing pays its full stake. Raising your own listing charges only the difference. Other listings must pay the full amount to outbid you. Minimum payment is $1.00 unless the operator publishes a different minimum. Ranking placement starts when payment is confirmed. If two people pay for the same rank, only the first successful apply is kept; the other payment is refunded because the quote is no longer valid.

6. No accounts

Email is optional. A private raise link may be shown after payment. Anyone with that link can raise that listing (pay only the difference). Keep it secret.

7. Acceptable use

No malware, payment fraud, impersonation, or automated placement that evades rate limits.

8. Disclaimers and liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 90 DAYS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

9. Law

We may update these Terms by posting a new version. Governing law is Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless a mandatory consumer statute says otherwise.
